I guess, when I cook with it I use to to replace meat it Asian dishes and they take on the taste of the sauce or spice mix I am using with very little other taste.

Maybe we'll get one next time?

As for the question, I avoid gluten for medical reasons (as do several members of my family) and any product (i.e. salad dressings/mayo) made with raw egg (also medical reasons; I'm allergic to raw egg). Though eating Thai food, I've discovered -- which is bit of a pain (as fish sauce is in nearly everything) that I may be allergic to anchovies.
So, if anyone knows a good vegetarian fish sauce that's available in the UK, please give me a shout.

So the CCP won't let me be or let me be me so let me see, they tried to shut me down on CBC but it feels so empty without me.

I don't know how good it is, though.

The reviews look pretty good. It has to be worth a try. I tried brewing up one of the substitutes they recommended on the internet for fish sauce for the dressing of my dinner yesterday... so, it has to be better than that.
Oddly enough, I've already bought the same brand for the red Thai curry paste (the one I was using had anchovies). Unfortunately, I haven't tested it yet.
Thanks, Farn!

Sure thing! Let us know how it turns out, if you get some.

If you're forced to eat something you'd rather not for medical reasons, that might count as option one.
I mean, restrictions would normally suggest less options, but if your diet is restricted from your preferences because you have to eat something, that seems to count, too. After all, your health trumps all things.

As someone who eats pork blood a lot, this does explain my gluttony.

Cellular memory theory attempts to explain why people who have received transplanted organs report having acquired the personal habits of the donor, which were previously alien to them, and the implications are that the spirit acquires the mental characteristics of the creature whose cells have been assimilated into the physical organism of the spirit.
