Here in Philadelphia, there's this market called the Reading Terminal Market. There's a place called DiNic's Roast Pork. They have the best roast pork sandwiches. It has Pork and Brocolli Rabe.

KFC in SG had one of those things. It was good, except no one is used to having chicken as a bread.

Steak, Guinness and Stilton pie. All local ingredients and made the pastry myself. The pastry cow on top is a but shitty as I had less pastry than hoped afterwards.

Aye. Pies are less daunting than one might think though it does take the best part of the day so not very feasible for some poor wage slave. Having said that you can buy pastry if you wish, though homemade is far nicer. I added rosemary and thyme to mine for fragrance.

Of course, homemade cherry pie is way better than store bought. Unlike most people, however, I have no grain on top!

Favourite sandwich is after a sunday roast, putting the bits of roast beef/lamb as the filling with horseradish or mint sauce. Though I do love toasted ham and cheese sandwiches, with brie or stilton.

I think I have them too often. Maybe I’d pick the Subway (foot long turkey slices on honey oats with tomatoes, lettuce, black olives, cheddar cheese and mustard sauce with olive oil... toasted).

Though I think a nice serving of heated European dark bread with butter is king; especially if it comes with hot soup.

Look good.I want the Steak and I like your Table.I think it's a big challenge to spend a whole day making pies.I don't even want to spend half an hour cooking.

This is maybe somewhat peculiar to the Chesapeake Bay Area but I love a good fried soft shelled crab, (the whole crab, legs sticking out the side is a must) sandwich.

All you need is a fried soft shelled crab (use Old Bay or equivalent in the batter), bread (two slices usually but a bun works), some mayo or tartar sauce, plus tomato and lettuce.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS OMG YES. I had one at a marina on Solomons Island, MD and it was so good it brought tears to my eyes.

I've never been a shellfish person so that stuff isn't normally what I would eat. But of course I don't live in the Chesapeake Bay Area.

The key to a good MD crab cake is using only the slightest amount of batter or egg to hold it together. It should basically just be chunks of crab meat. If you cannot clearly see it is big pieces of crab meat it is no good.
