He didn’t bring it with him and even if he did, having a weapon is not instigating violence. During an event where violence is a very possible reality, one could consider being armed as being prudent.

It really isn't. There is a large part of events that is missing, and depending on the way he killed his first victim, everything after is not self defence.

Nothing in a court case is ever obvious. You do not know what happened here, and your opinions on the protests will have heavily influenced your view of the people that were chasing Rittenhouse, as well as your opinion on gun laws.

Therm is more getting at their description of events, which pretty much does the defenses job for them and makes an extremely strong case for self defense. Like G&D said earlier I could very well see the kid taking them for a ride and getting rich after all this.
