Not all cops are racist. But some of them are. You cant really generalize all members of law enforcement as "racist" or "not racist". It boils down to the individual.

Ironically, Vass posted a scientific study, and based on how bad journalists are at understanding science in general, I’d say they are very different creatures.

Body cam footage of his arrest came in. It changes nothing, but does show he was threatened with a gun while sort of resisting arrest? Lots of missinformation being spread now too, it was the cops that murdered him not the drugs in his body.

Bigotry aint the same as it used to be. Back in the day anyone who didn't like you for your race would call you a slur, maybe try and kill you. Those folks are still around but far more do this underhanded shit where they claim they're not racist but then always assume the black guy killed by police was a criminal, or support things like a ban on Muslim immigration to the US. I'm not saying that 100% of the people making excuses for the murder of George Floyd are anti-black racists, but I wouldn't be surprised if most of them are.

It's not up for me to interpret, watch it yourself and form your own opinion. I think it looks good from the defense standpoint especially when paired with the medical examiner's report, that's as far as I plan to go.

Except you already did. You said it 'looked really good for these officers' That's an interpretation. What's missing is why you think it looks good for these officers. You already interpreted the video, you just bitched out when you had to do the real work of backing up your interpretation.

See, here you do it again. You're not 'letting us interpret it for ourselves.' We don't need your permission to do that, we're gonna. We were looking for what your actual argument was and what it was based on. But you are unwilling to provide even a halfassed defense of your interpretation, making one wonder why you bothered. The videos are widely available, we all could see them. You have provided nothing and wasted everyone's time.

Basically, they arrested him, tried to get him in the police car, he fought them. As they tried to get him into the vehicle, he started yelling he can't breathe (even before anyone had touched his neck or anything). Once they finally got him into the car, he suddenly shifted wrestling direction and jumped out the other side hitting the officer with his body as a projectile. He continued yelling he couldn't breathe throughout, even without any breathing constriction being done. He was extremely agitated, and they couldn't complete the arrest with him in that state.

It appears then they used the suppression technique in an attempt to calm him (not a good idea - a lot of police departments have barred that particular maneuver for a reason - an unacceptably high death rate -, but not in minneapolis), so they could complete the arrest.

Basically, it looks like a severe fuck up from the police trying to subdue someone who was making it particularly hard to be subdued. It does explain why they didn't respond to the "I can't breathe" statements - he had been saying that from the moment they tried putting him in the car.
