It's infuriating how people who live snugly in the status quo and barely think about ever doing much praxis can't seem to understand how serious protest and advocacy for change works, and how disenfranchised groups have to slowly escalate their protests. Eventually it'll reach a point of violence and rioting, and they are inherently uncontrollable actions.

Kind of still better than what's happening in other parts of the country though. I notice all the demos northeast of Philadelphia have been pretty tame, especially compared to some of the chaos that's happening in the West. The Deep South is interestingly also much less chaotic, even though their recession is probably worse than up here. Not sure.
