Just saw a sickening video from New York City of a police officer plowing into a group of protesters. What the heck has this country become? I hope that officer is fired. I am seriously questioning if I want to become a cop anymore.

It's becoming a common thing, there's been other sightings of people either ramming protesters over to get away from getting their cars and themselves bashed up or deliberately driving over protesters while screaming at them.

He told them he had a bow and threatened to shoot them with it. After they damaged his car as a response, he got out with a lethal weapon and prepared to/tried to fire it.

Maybe the lessons here are don't be surprised when you threaten to kill people and catch shit for it, and don't expect sympathy once you actually try to follow through. Expecting untrained people to remain calm and politely disarm him when he's got a weapon capable of killing them is rubbish.
