Theres apparently some infighting in the Pentagon itself. I think they do not want to be dragged onto a street fight for Trump or his political games. Theres some sympathies for the protests too. Its a very unpredictable situation.
So far Trump has other forces to defend him. My bet is that he will try to slide the whole thing until the protests lessen. Maybe hes also counting on Corona hitting some of the protestors so he can later gloat about it or something. Which is probably the smartest thing he can do as his presidential authority is severely damaged atm.

Honestly I dont think it'll get to that point but I do feel this is the closest America has gotten to a military coup.Washington Resistance Army wrote:Nakena wrote:
Military re-deployed to DC and some weird DOJ Dudes (SORT) too. But apparently not much violence.
Also disarray in the political and military leadership is growing. More and more state organs turning against Trump.
Here's hoping Mad Dog overthrows the government

It is. Apparently Barr has been forced to bring in special prison riot control guys from Texas to secure the WH. Pretty sad they dont feel safe relying on other guys.

Congratulations, you're the first to point out the cops had no way to know it was water.
IMO police should have arrested the water thrower.
If no cops get sick or suffer burns, let the water thrower go.
Or IF it turns out it wasn't just water, charge the "water" thrower.
I expect the parade of Fuck the Police posters will now attack me with ridiculous claims police should give members of the public the benefit of the doubt when attacked with an unknown substance. But I don't care any more, I was going to bed anyway.

Besides, everyone knows you're supposed to throw milkshakes mixed with cement powder.

And here comes the apologetic. Stop excusing the police for these actions. It does not matter what they knew. Firing into a crowd was not justifiable.
