The cops (most of them) weren't even wearing face masks. They should all be fired together with Dominic Cummings. Bit hypocritical of leftist, BLM protesters and media to suddenly turn a blind eye to the lack of social distancing because "mUh wHiTe sUpReMaCy".

Not "the greatest ever", as Trump claimed though. Eisenhower's, Kennedy's and Clinton's economies were better. Reagan in 1984 even achieved an unprecendented GDP growth rate of 7.3%. I believe Trump can't reverse the inevitable decline of US GDP growth in the recent years, no matter what policies he enacted.

I'd be much angrier with liberals risking a second wave of coronavirus to protest a foreign crisis if our own domestic scandals and confused government policy hadn't already done so much to undermine the protection measures.

That's the thing, the news cycle isn't moving fast. Quite the opposite, it's moving so painfully slow that it in large part helped accelerate and cause this much outrage because we had nothing else to focus on.

Theres apparently some infighting in the Pentagon itself. I think they do not want to be dragged onto a street fight for Trump or his political games. Theres some sympathies for the protests too. Its a very unpredictable situation.

So far Trump has other forces to defend him. My bet is that he will try to slide the whole thing until the protests lessen. Maybe hes also counting on Corona hitting some of the protestors so he can later gloat about it or something. Which is probably the smartest thing he can do as his presidential authority is severely damaged atm.
