21 actually isn’t the case but it’s within the timeframe of Human peak physicality. Generally your best physical health and shape is 16-25. But humans being decently long lived Primates typically retain their peak physical form (their prime) well into their 30s. At which point slow steady decline begins.

Of course, as you say NFL quarterbacks, there are significant influences to health. An athlete will retain strength and physicality much better, longer, and with less effects of aging for a prolonged time.
Conversely numerous injuries may cause physical decline sooner rather than later.

Sperm count has zero causation regarding sex appeal. Healthier men do typically have better counts but there is so much that goes into it (diet, exercise, genetics) that the generally prime number for healthy sperm is age 16 with no significant, notable, decline until the male is pretty advanced in age (40s and above).

The point is a 30 year old quarterback has a much better idea how to do his job than an 18 year old version of himself. Much like someone who has had years of experience having sex generally has a better idea of how and what to do than when they were a virgin.

In many, if not all, fields of endeavor involving physical activities, knowledge of how to perform increases with age, while ability to perform decreases. There exists a sweet point where the knowledge/ability product is maximized, differing both by activity and individual.

Unless you need pussy (or if you're a straight woman, dick), my advice is you look for someone to spend the rest of your life with at like 25 at youngest and 30 at oldest. If you're my age, just don't. I'm begging you as a man and as a brother not to do this to yourself or you will regret it, and if you go looking for a woman to be your soul mate and get up in your feelings at age 20, you go to hell before you die. Please.

Well, I would advise not dating 15 year old girls because it's illegal.

Unless you yourself are also a teenager.

For me, I don't take age that much into consideration. Of course I would never date someone that was a minor or someone already collecting social security. What I look at mostly is personality and maturity. I have known some people my age and even older that were less mature than your average kindergartner and I know freshmen at my university that are far more mature than I am. It is what is on the inside that counts to me and whether or not we click. Of course, as an asexual I guess that is pretty easy for me to say.

What about you?

Me and Roan are 13 years apart. As long as both parties are of age, compatible and love each other, the difference doesn't matter

I'm not a fan of age gaps, but as long as they love each other (and it's legal obviously), it's fine.

it's also why i don't ship narumayo but that's besides the point

Depends. Obviously both parties should be of consenting age.

I know a woman in her mid-50s who married a guy in his 30s. IMO it's kinda weird, considering the fact that the woman has a daughter who is literally the same age as the man, but in the end, it's really not my business.

Age differences, especially as you approach the age of consent, present extremely problematic power dynamics between the people involved. It is entirely possible for two people of very different ages to have a healthy relationship, but it's less likely. Really, the primary concern in a relationship should be how it influences the wellbeing of all involved.

It's definitely proportional. 18 and 40 is weird, 60 and 82 is not as much so. 24 and 28 is totally normal, 15 and 19 is definitely wrong and illegal. There's no set number or logic as long as seems ok. It's sort of like fitting together sentences in English. There's some reasoning and some guesswork, it just needs to sound right in the end and the context is important.

I don't date. If I did, I wouldn't want a massive disparity on the basis that people my age, people older, and people younger, are at two different stages of their life and have different needs and expectations. In other words, older women want someone who can give them children before the clock runs out and younger women don't know what they want, except probably another drink.

I do have a personal issue with larger age disparities for reasons of practicality, especially when it comes to kids. If the man is significantly older, and much closer to middle age, then there's the issue of a working woman with children looking after a 60-something. There's also a power dynamic which can be reinforced the older the man is (and the older the woman is too). People often don't take this into account, because much like everything else when it comes to relationships, it's feels before reals.

If I had taken leave of my senses and decided dating was worth my while, I'd opt for someone who was within two or three years of me, but younger. I would not date older.

Actually, age of older partner / 2 + 7 as the minimum age for the younger one tends to work. So 30 -> 15 + 7 = 22.
