Quantum leap as a term is not just used in physics. And in sporting terms what you just did was a walkover. Bye.

Yes an evolution is not a term only used in biology, so what is your point?

You’ve some gall to speak on that. You’re the one trying to force some presumed difference between invented terms of microevolution and macroevolution down our throats when there is no scientific basis to claim that there is any such difference whatsoever.

To be fair that was a term scientists used. Unfortunately it has been misused by creationists.

Not only can the sort of change you're describing not happen in evolution, it would actually disprove evolution if it did happen.

The fact that you think evolution requires it, proves that you don't understand what evolution is, or how it works.

They use entirely different methods to understand the world.

Religion, for the most part, is based on faith, which is a concept totally impossible to reconcile with science.

Says science and religion are compatible, keeps yammering on about how Evolution is wrong. I do believe that right there is what we call irony.

From now on, since the thread devolved into bashing Christian Faith, I will just cease with discussing and start agitating against stupid atheism if you like.

The atheist thoughts of a day:
"If God real, why I fat?"
"If magical sky daddy real, why universe magically popped into existence from nowhere?"
"If God real, why I don't have friends?"
"If God real, why he don't give me gf?"
"If God real, why I suffer?"
"If God real, why I don't get all I wish for?"

And more, indicating that the theology of a five year old, is truly the mindset of the atheist.

People are already complaining about you guys hijacking this thread, wanna keep it up?

Look, every time religion says something scientific, real science disproves it. Sun orbits the earth. Disproven. Earth and all animals made in 7 days. Disproven. How can you still believe such blatent nonsense? It was made before we could properly explain stuff to provide answers to questions like "Where did we come from?". Now we know the concept of evolution, but back then, it was God because they didn't know. Catch up to date, religion.
"Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.”

How about these:
"If God real, how come he let there be evil? He says he loves everyone and he is all-powerful so why not get rid of bad things for us?"
"If God real, why does he not outright prove he exists, through a booming voice or something. I thought he was all powerful so surely he could show he exists?"
"If God real, why is he so stupid?

Catholics are if I remember right taught to accept science. God is the first mover as well as the being who "interferes." While I do not agree with Catholicism, I can accept that they believe that. I would still have issues with it being taught as fact in school, but at least they accept science.

Population growth is a significantly more important factor in determining the future of religion.

Sure. Mix atheist parents with their children. What do you get, a good amount of the time? Atheist children. I am an Atheist myself, I was brought up in a Protestant household. Protestant, mostly because my grandmother was from Northern Ireland and my grandfather Scottish. My grandfather is religious, just doesn't care about it and my grandmother is very religious. My grandfather is also a veteran of The Troubles and served in Germany, too. That, I would say, plays a rather important factor with my mother, who is also religious and Protestant. Everyone my age that I know is atheist or doesn't believe in God. Sure, some do, however 95% of people I know, or around that are atheist.

As far as I understand it, they do not disagree with the science itself, rather they feel it is immoral for that form of science to be used.

I think religion would be important in school because it is like learning LOTE (language other than English) which helps boost thought and has been proven to make students smarter and they learn another language. It is a bit like that + you learn a religion which you can teach others, believe in yourself and if students really don’t want to do it, they shouldn’t need to as it is abusive to teach religion they don’t believe in.

No. You are there to learn objective information, not the existence of a god. Practice religion all you want, but don't force students to pray or whatever.

Hmmm? You can't claim to support it if you declare it immoral and work against it.

Different form of support. The believe that the science achieved is real etc, they just do not think it is moral to use.

Anyways, back to teaching religion in schools, which is once again a hard no. Unless it's for historical and secular purposes. You can't teach something in school if you can't prove it.
