You act as if Race is the deciding factor that brings groups together. There are many other ways that tribalism has been established in society such as religion, politics, lifestyle, etc.

Scientifically, if everyone intermixed, within a few generations there would no longer be different races. This would inherently destroy any chance of a race based society. It is not a solid thing to build society off of.

1. Instead of fingerpointing and blaming this pandemic response should have been globally coordinated and aligned to get through it as quickly as efficiently as possible instead of everyone going off and doing or not doing their own thing.

Although obviously racism was still prevalent at the time, the military was desegregated in 1953, schools ordered desegregated from 1950 to 1954 and civil rights legislation was passed in 1957 and 1960.

So although racism was prevalent the majority people still widely recognized it as a problem at that time. Besides just because many people were racist in the past does not make it good now.
