On the whole 'he didn't act innocent' thing, I don't think it's a very sensible argument. If several people rolled up on me with guns visible, screaming at me to stop while I was just out on a normal day I'd likely assume they were up to no good.

I wouldn't charge them, but that's not because I'm 'more innocent', it's because I'm more likely to run the fuck away.

It goes beyond even that. Police kill and injure people for many a reason, but the one thing that unites all those motives is the cops can get away with violence and they know it.
