I don't think people should be fired/canceled unless it's proven if you are talking about sexual assault. If you're talking about bringing up stuff from the past I don't think they should be fired if the event occurred long enough ago that it can be said to no longer reflect their present views/maturity. Unless we are talking about something like murder than that is unforgivable.
