A tourist trap like the Vegas strip reopening right now would be the worst conditions in my example, in case you missed that part.

Las Vegas reopening is literally nightmarish. People will die in droves.

Gee if it’s so simple why don’t they do that? Maybe because the government isn’t made of money. Why not just bail out every city in America by giving them billions of dollars? That will be zero effect on inflation cuz money printer

Because the US government is led by Donald Trump, whose actions during this pandemic makes me conclude that he genuinely doesn't care about people's lives. That's also excluding other key lawmakers, whose actions make me conclude they also don't care about people's lives.

Also, you seem to be making the argument that because it hasn't yet been done it's impossible to do. That argument is extremely flawed.

Noticeably, I didn't advocate bailing out every city. I advocated bailing out the businesses that literally can't keep themselves afloat. If a business can keep itself afloat (see basically every big business), no money for them.

Why aren’t democrats calling for Vegas and other major cities to be bailed out with billions of dollars? Do they not care either?

If it’s such a simple solution why is no one calling for it?

Here is how you do it. You print the extra cash and give it out during the emergency, this keeps the economy alive and there is zero chance of inflation while the country is in lockdown.

Once the crisis is over the Fed then removes the excess cash from the economy by simply not replacing the bills that get sent back for destruction.

Government doesn't have a problem throwing massive amounts of money they pulled out of their ass towards wall street, corporations, and the military. Government only has a problem finding money when it will actually solve problems that pain the working class.

I mean, the Pentagon just managed to lose $21 trillion dollars per an audit that couldn't determine where that money went a couple years ago, we're throwing away and hemorrhaging money on things that don't particular make sense when the nation is crumbling - both in regards to society and infrastructure.

The solution to out of work people not being able to pay for food isn't to reopen every business and kill the old. The solution is we need a better social safety net.
