Technically he probably saw it on Foxnews. Sofar that instead of his advisors seems to be where he gets his intel.

Hydrochloquine is off patent, so I dont see how trump could make a fortune from it unlike remdesivir, which is. Maybe you should be barking up that tree.
Yes it's something they are trying, that is a new technology about. We have a hypothesis and we test it.

Being off patent still doesn't mean you can’t invest. Granted the amount in the French Company was small and yet he mentioned them.
If Trump was talking about what they are trying; I would be impressed.

This means the number of infections is now rising in the country.

That is interesting since it normally takes about a week for people to show symptoms.

PM: Conditional MCO extended until June 9

Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin today announced that the conditional movement control order (MCO) has been extended from May 12 to June 9.
In a live telecast address, Muhyiddin (above) said the current conditional MCO restrictions, which among others allow for operations of certain economic sectors, will remain in place for the four week period.
"On the advice of the Health Ministry and the National Security Council, I would like to announce that the conditional MCO effective until May 12, will be extended until June 9 or another four weeks," he said.
Muhyiddin said while the government has seen positive developments in its fight against Covid-19, it has yet to fully succeed.
"Measures are still needed to combat this pandemic.
"I also find that the majority want the government to continue to take the appropriate measures in fighting it," he said.
With the conditional MCO's extension, restrictions such as no interstate travel or gatherings remain in place, he said.
Under the existing conditional MCO, some businesses are also not allowed to operate, such as hair salons.
"Any changes to the rules, standard operating procedure (SOP), or the list of sectors that are allowed to operate will be announced later," he said.
The government began winding down the restrictions on May 4 by modifying the MCO into a "conditional MCO".
Most businesses reopened with strict social distancing measures while recreational activities that do not involve groups were also allowed.
The MCO was initially supposed to last two weeks but saw three extensions until May 12.
The number of Covid-19 cases had spiralled shortly before the MCO with three-digit new cases daily.
However, the MCO has allowed the Health Ministry to bring the pandemic under control with two-digit cases daily.
The country recorded 54 new cases in the last 24 hours up to noon yesterday. The highest number of cases was recorded on March 26, at 235.
To date, Malaysia recorded a total of 6,589 Covid-19 cases with 108 deaths.
However, 74.8 percent of patients or 4,929 have since recovered. There are 1,552 patients still in treatment.

What we have to tell people honestly, what they want to hear, they don’t want it sugarcoated and they don’t want it coated in fear. But somewhere between now and tomorrow, next year, we’re going to see 60 to 70% of Americans ultimately infected with this virus.

Gotta have a little bit of darkness within you just to survive. You gotta stoop low everyday it seems like. Stoop all the way down to the devil in these times. And then one day you look in the mirror and you realize that you ain't you anymore. You're just another monster, and thanks to your actions, someone else will eventually become as warped and twisted as you. Never forget that the best of us are just the best of a bad lot. Being at the top of a pile of feces doesn't make you anything but shit like the rest. Never forget that.

Saw this in a recent covid update from the Guardian and I gotta say is HOLY FUCK. That is nightmare fuel right there, if 60 to 70% of America gets COVID, millions may die.
Thanks Trump. You've doomed countless people to death.

I already pointed out the issue with your comment. Why do you assume that their recovery had anything to do with the drug? And it does not matter if it is off patent, if you are invested in a company, that company making money for whatever reason makes you money.

Well fuck me sideways. I assumed a bacteriophage gobbled up bacteria, and so, must bigger than them. Bigger bacteria.
So I was wrong. Bacteriophages are viruses that attack single cells (bacteria). They're like little pirates.
Still, a virus that attacks bacteria is not a virus that attacks other viruses. That's like pirates fighting each other ... out at sea ... without a ship in sight. How could they do that? WHY would they do that? There's no booty.
