I don't know where you shop for groceries, but in my area at times the cops are present, the grocery store is letting in x numbers of persons at a time, while requiring you to wear a mask, and I have never had to wait in line more than four minutes to enter, and the store inside is full of people buying groceries. We need to follow the social distancing, wearing masks and washing our hands. The Governors Democrats and Republicans are trying to gradually open up the businesses at the appropriate time, while still requiring the necessary health guidelines, but if persons don't work they don't have the money to buy the groceries and merchandise of the stores, they don't have the money to eat in a restaurant or order from a restaurant, they don't have the money to pay their rent and mortgages, I saw your post saying you lost your job, I posted my well wishes to you, perhaps you did not see it, I hope you are collecting unemployment benefits during this virus crisis, which President Trump signed into law, be safe.

I don't think that will happen. Small businesses that can't access loans at good rates will go broke. Big businesses shouldn't ... unless they've been run by crooks for years and were already carrying too much debt. I think we're going to find that a lot of big businesses that looked good in the stock market have actually been hollowed-out long before the virus came along. And maybe Lowes is one of them.
