You seem to have misunderstood. It was a party were there was someone with confirmed Covid. The people went to see if they would catch it or if it was all a hoax. A 30 year old man caught it and died.

You do not want them have access to your medical records. You'll be excluded from a government function if you ever suffered from a mental condition.

I'm not asking the president to do something. I never stated he should have done something. I'm just sick of the behaviour people protesting in the US. I think people have a right to protest, but to go out without a mask to protest is one of the highest forms of idiocy I've seen on both sides. Even if both sides are content with only pointing out the idiocy of the other side.

True. But a good case can be made, and in many countries has been made that certain rights can be abridged in case of situations of public health emergencies.

Rights should not be signed away permanently because of an emergency. Plus personal health information ought to not be made public

You’re the only one who’s said it will be permanent. A vaccine card system would only need to be used until we have herd immunity. Once that happens you don’t need the cards as we are protected from it

Hey, more jobs are always a good thing. Businesses such as Walmart and Target typically already have greeters anyway, just make it a normalized trend.

In restaurants, you have the hostess or host, where you wait at the front door anyway and can't be seating until they take you.

They already are. Here in Georgia if you want to go to a restaurant you have to have your temperature checked. They have a person who’s job it is to enforce that.

And adopting policies that make the public feel safer is good for businesses in the long run. I usually never shop at Target, but I have been recently because its the only grocery store near me that seems to be enforcing masks. When Roy Cooper announced a mask mandate statewide, Harris Teeter said they wouldn't comply and from the sounds of it a lot of people have avoided Harris Teeter because of it.

Apparently Texas tumbling back towards restrictions after the Reopen Rush isn't a clear enough warning sign to some people.
