He unsuccessfully ran for the GOP nomination in 2012, is a Tea Party activist, a businessman, and has a radio show. I had to search him up after the news with him getting the coronavirus to know more about him.

Antibody tests are much less unpleasant: they're a blood test (so in my case, they just checked my regular donation, but if you aren't donating, it's just like any other blood test).

Triple tap.

I know that’s not a term, but being older, black, and male are all risk factors.

I would like to know the proportion of people at that rally wearing a mask. My guess would be 10% since mask wearing wasn't really prioritized for rally goers.

Swiss authorities finally push for masks on public transport in the wake of a resurgence of cases. Since that announcement the changes in behaviour are remarkable from a people who were once again cramming themselves onto morning trains only a couple of days ago.

My hopes of getting a holiday before shit continues to hit the fan are fading fast thanks to Sturgeons ego and blind nationalism. Guess I'll be stuck here for more time yet.

So I'm hearing something that having other Coronaviruses recently can give you a false positive on the COVID antibody test?
If so that's likely going to make things worse as people catch a cold think they have COVID antibodies then they get exposed to the real thing.

Oh! That kind of blood test. I've had a lot of blood tests, 5ml and 10ml these last few years. Trying to work out what's wrong with my brain. By now I'm like "It's the fucking pituitary, I need a fucking MRI, think of the taxpayer!" but the docs are always "let's have another general hormone test, shall we?" Hormones are all over the place, but that's normal, best explanation I've heard is that nanoscale aliens have landed in the middle of my head, and they're pumping out random enzymes and waiting for feedback.

Fingerprick tests don't hurt much at all. I would rate that below the discomfort of a nasal swab. And that below a vein extraction of blood. None of them are any big deal, but remember that to some people, the pain of a vaccination IS a big deal. They build a whole belief system off it.

Media bias.

Before they realized what they were doing, AV media distributed the most graphic pictures they could get, of people having a swab shoved up their nose. Wincing. Rapid blinking, eye clamping. Media can't help itself, the most emotive images are best. Some people over-react to a small amount of pain, or a moderate amount of discomfort. Those people went to air the same night.

Well I don't really follow social media, because I assume that on average it is worse. Did social media promote better expectations of a nasal swab? More balanced? Better? Worse?

I didn't mind it so much (the nasal swab). Actually made me wonder why I never used an implement to pick my nose, actually, top notch business idea right there! The Snort-a-Sorter, no more snot ever.
