As the article states, statement was made the day Perdue's home state, Georgia, announced that its total deaths related to Covid had grown to exceed the previous years total deaths for car accidents.

The MTA will spend about $1 million to purchase 150 UV lamps from a startup company called Puro and begin the first phase of the experimental program in hopes of eradicating the COVID-19 virus from its fleet of subway trains and buses.

"UV is a proven technology that has worked effectively in hospital emergency rooms, hospital operating rooms, urgent care centers, universities and first-responder locations," Foye said. I have always considered it honorable to tell posters when I'm putting them on Ignore.

It's against the rules to say you're Ignoring someone too often. If you infer that it's within the rules to use the "Ignore" without informing them even one time, I think you'd be right.

Don't Ignore too many posters (publicly) because for every one you ignore is some other poster you have regard for, and they will respect you less for ignoring their "friend".

Understand that the comfort and dignity of using Ignore (with announcement) comes at a cost. Many others will feel it as restriction of their freedom of speech. It might be best to just do it and don't tell anyone. Take the comfort, screw the dignity ... use Ignore whenever you damn please and don't tell anyone.
