It's not nihilism lol, have you not noticed the fact that we seem to be living in a bad knockoff of the Book of Revelation

Some humorous websites (that I as a preterist totally do not believe) showing how easily the original can be twisted to our current "bad knockoff."

That second link is so much better than the old-english poorly made animation I had to watch in school that literally interpreted the entire book. Of course, it was as bad as Dumb And Dumber, just unintentionally.

Please, don't believe the conspiracy theory site; I just find it humorous and related to us "living in a bad knockoff of the Book of Revelation".

How about 489 retired Generals, Admirals, senior NCOs, Ambassadors and senior civilian national security officials formally endorsing him? (Full disclosure: I worked with a few of the signers a couple of lifetimes ago.)

Non-American here:

I was originally pro Trump because I thought “Here’s someone who could shake up the system and political class of career politicians, here’s someone who goes against PC. If someone like a Trump can win, that’s an inspiration for every day Joes to achieve great things with their lives, excel, and do amazing things.”

Fast forward to 2020:

He’s excessively anti-Chinese; he tries to undermine HK’s economy with sanctions that will hurt the HK people to “support the HK people.” This whole Blame China for the virus situation in the USA Is absolutely pathetic.

Also, he has the gaming commissions look into investigating/possibly banning League of Legends (threatening the majority of the NA Server), affecting millions of players.

Every day I turn on the TV or watch the news I have to see this guy (or Pompeo) make some anti-Chinese posturing.

...

So with all of this said.

Biden.

It’s time for Biden to win.

He may continue the anti-Chinese policies but I think he’ll at least be more classy about it and also have the sense not to go after video games.

I’ve already convinced my brother and his group of friends from Silicon Valley to go Biden.

This combined with his endorsements from the NeoCon Warhawk camp sounds like good reason not to vote for Biden under any circumstances.

Great, a bunch of neocons, warmongers and career MIC types endorsing Biden. That will really motivate me to vote for Harris, er, sorry Biden.

Trump targeted gamers.

Gamers.

We're a group of people who will sit for hours, days, even weeks on end performing some of the hardest, most mentally demanding tasks. Over, and over, and over all for nothing more than a little digital token saying we did.

We'll punish our selfs doing things others would consider torture, because we think it's fun.

We'll spend most if not all of our free time min maxing the stats of a fictional character all to draw out a single extra point of damage per second.

Many of us have made careers out of doing just these things: slogging through the grind, all day, the same quests over and over, hundreds of times to the point where we know evety little detail such that some have attained such gamer nirvana that they can literally play these games blindfolded.

Do these people have any idea how many controllers have been smashed, systems over heated, disks and carts destroyed 8n frustration? All to latter be referred to as bragging rights?

Trump honestly thinks this is a battle he can win? He takes our media? We're already building a new one without them. He takes our devs? Gamers aren't shy about throwing their money else where, or even making the games our selves. Trump thinks calling us racist, misogynistic, rape apologists is going to change us? We've been called worse things by prepubescent 10 year olds with a shitty head set. Trump picked a fight against a group that's already grown desensitized to his strategies and methods. Who enjoy the battle of attrition he's threatened us with. Who take it as a challenge when Trump tell us we no longer matter. Our obsession with proving we can after being told we can't is so deeply ingrained from years of dealing with big brothers/sisters and friends laughing at how pathetic we used to be that proving you people wrong has become a very real need; a honed reflex.

Gamers are competitive, hard core, by nature. We love a challenge. The worst thing you did in all of this was to challenge us. You're not special, you're not original, you're not the first; this is just another boss fight.
