People in this thread have talked about the possibility of Biden actually showing himself to be the greater of two evils. So if that happened, how would you vote?

I'm not really sure if that's possible, as it's difficult to be more evil than Trump is. If that should happen, I'd vote third party, or write someone in.

At the top of the chart.

Big Government vs Small Government is such outdated propaganda and such an outdated model (which was never true or accurate, outside of the small difference between neoliberals and conservatives).

Here are some videos that explain better models:

Biden would want to remove the hard left from the democratic caucus permanently. Have a strong centre left to centre right message, with the reduction in government interference as a key position. And a promise to investigate all extremist groups for crimes equally.

Pick a political compass chart, most of them put libertarians/anarchists at the top.

Yeah, they're off the right edge of the political compass cliff right-wing. If you thought someone said otherwise, you're either putting words in their mouth or taking them out of context.

People like me must be European and Canadian shills then, because I agree with most of the points made by the people arguing against you. Just because they're from somewhere else doesn't make their opinion invalid, that's a fallacious way to think.

No. But when people think of the Left wing here without understanding American politics, and have no idea wtf they are talking about they shouldn't be here.

As long as Americans keep claiming rightwingers are "socialists" or "Marxists" people most definitely should correct them.

The left believes in big government, while the right believes in big government. The only difference is what they want the big government to do.

Some from left and right don't believe in having a government at all.

And that's what we call a bad take.

I believe in good and prudent government. It's size is of little importance.

As the old adage goes, "size doesn't matter."

"Red tape" is basically redundancy, and reducing it leaves opportunities for corruption and mis-spending.

As a rule, although there are of course exceptions:

The left wants a government big enough to make life fair for the poor and disadvantaged, and the right wants a government big enough to make life fair for the rich and privileged.

So they say. Their actions, however, lead one to believe otherwise. They have no problem passing more laws criminalizing various behaviors, then hiring more police to enforce those laws.

This is of course false.
The left wants a government big enough to punish poor right wingers, the right wants a government big enough to punish poor left wingers. Neither of them give two shits about making life better for anyone.

You seem to be using a very specific definition of "the left" and "the right" which have no rational utility in debate.
