Are all Nazis racists?

Nazism, or National Socialism if you prefer, is of course an ideology with many beliefs and tenets. Chief among them however is the idea of the superiority of the so called Aryan race, specifically the Nordic subrace; that it is their destiny to rule over others. However we know many people pick and choose which parts of an ideology to follow sometimes to bizarre levels. So that leaves the question: Is it possible for someone to believe in all the other tenets of Nazism but not the superiority of the Aryan race and still remain a Nazi? Or is that particular belief so central to Nazism that in order to be genuine Nazi you must believe in it? In other words, are all Nazis racists?

I believe in order to be a genuine Nazi you most adhere to the idea of so called Aryan superiority and therefore, yes, all Nazis are racist. What say you, NSG?

I am defining being a Nazi as believing and supporting Nazism and it's tenants. Tenants that are profoundly racist. What else would you call someone who believes and supports racist ideas?

Fair enough but if they aren't adherents of the ideology I wouldn't say they are Nazis. They might be members of the party but are not ideologically Nazis.

It does stand to reason if we are going to define Nazis as only the true believers, then yes, by default they would most likely all have to be racists due to the way the Nazis viewed the world. Can't have a Master Race in an ideology and it not be inherently racist.

Nationalism on its own isn’t racist. When you take it too far however, it becomes Nazism. In my mind nationalism to the point of racism is simply Nazism. There is no way for Nazism to be not racist, unless you remove the hyper-nationalism, at which point they become little more than your standard run of the mill socialists.

Nazism is specifically set around the idea of Aryan superiority. The Nazis divided the world into races with the Aryans on top of the totem pole, and even created a hierarchy within the Aryan race, with Nordics on top and Mediterranean on the bottom. The nazi goal was to purify the nordic race by breeding Meds with Nords in order to breed out any genetic impurity, and then to forcefully segregate the rest of mankind from the Aryans and kill of several races that they deemed to be too undesirable to live, those being the Jews, the Gypsies and the Slavs. A non-racist nazi is like a communist who supports private property. They don't exist. Nazism is an inherently intolerant ideology. It's a damn shame the beliefs of Adolf Hitler didn't die on the beaches of Normandy.

In my experience the defining trait of true nazism, even before racialism, is radical antisemitism.

In the through nazist worldview the jews are, contrary to popular belief, not "subhuman" but rather something like David Icke's reptiloids.

Even though most wouldn be properly able to articulate that kind of belief since it's simply too far out there. But thats what Hitler actually believed, even though even he lacked the words for it.
