Dude, seriously? Re-read the source: By January 30, all of the top public health officials (which definitely includes Fauci) supported a travel ban. Meanwhile Peter Navarro claimed that Fauci was still against travel bans by "late January". First paragraph and it's already a contradiction.

Edit: The source also says Fauci and others convinced Trump first, who was initially skeptical of the idea. If Fauci was against travel bans in the first place, why did he convinced Trump to do so by January 30?

I'm increasingly leaning towards accelerationism on my less optimistic days. :^)

My optimism is a strange thing. I was thinking about it earlier when I was thinking of this girl who I'm attracted to. I'm someone who often has a pessimistic view of things but once in a while I feel a spark of hope. Sometimes whatever I'm hoping for comes true but even when it doesn't, I guess it's better to dream sometimes than live 100% of your life in suffering and anguish.

I like to think that things such as climate change and the current vicious political scene in America can and will be solved. Idk if that's how it will go but it's better to lie to yourself than to lose hope. Gotta keep that optimism going so you can survive these times.
