Trump's response? Guesses...anyone? Say, "Yeah, Democrats should stop playing partisan politics while I try and solve this..."? Good ol' blame shifting but still following the spirit. Nope. Thanking the former president and saying we're coming together as a nation to fight this? Kind of bullshit, ignores his own culpability? Nope, that's what a normal politician might do.

Nah, he goes to twitter with a 'what have you done for me lately' bend complaining that Bush didn't speak up for him during the impeachment.

Because we elected a petty infantile embarrassment. This fucking guy.

If you mean Trump, I wouldn't blame them. Being President used to come with a certain respect which I don't think it can anymore... hell, I even respected Bush even when I hated him.

it's honestly hard to tell at this point whether or not depriving people of a reason to stay home and stay safe is intentional or the logical result of government dysfunction

Everybody hates Donald...except the people who still support him who make up about 40% of America and 10% of mankind. So 60% of Americans and 90% of mankind still hate him.

I knew Trump wasn't to blame, it was Someone Else!

Trump now saying that he was told on January 23 that there could be a virus coming but that it wouldn’t be a big deal. He says at that point he wanted to close everything down but the people in the room talked him out of it.

Damn those unnamed people in the room whom are all still working for him at the White House.

Step 1:
Remove income support, so people have no choice but to return to work.

Trump also has a new measure for success when it comes to fatalities:

As long as the current number of deaths are less than 30K more than the current number, it's a success. Everything is relative.

Trump: I used to say 65k and now I’m saying 80 or 90 and it goes up and it goes up rapidly

Trump rewrites history more than Big Brother does in the novel 1984. I remember as late as March, Trump thought this was a flu and even now he wants to reopen everything and kill everyone. And here he is trying to portray himself as a tragic hero who was forced by anonymous individuals to close his beloved economy. It's just like when he blamed Obama for his mandatory detentions at the border and then ended the child separation and said "See? I stopped the policy Obama enacted, so I'm a hero." What an absolute douche.

Trump was the guy who said only 200,000 people would die in America from COVID.

Only 200,000.

Going over both of there biggest sins, Iraq war for W Bush and the Corona virus for Trump:

4,440 dead Americans in the Iraq war.

68,633 Dead Americans for the Corona virus so far.

George W Bush is a better president then Donald Trump beacuse he killed at time of posting (May 4th 2020 9:33 AM EST) 64,193 less Americans then Trump did.

More Americans died in the last couple of months from COVID than in the entire Vietnam War. This is a disaster.

Would not be surprised if the hardcore MAGAForce fanboys rationalize the body count by telling themselves most if not all the fatalities are Democrats and dirty foreigners including Asians.

If this virus was able to entirely depopulate New York state and California of all life, I'm sure Trump would not only tout it as a success, but he would do so openly on live TV.

I'm really excited to hear said arguments on Trump's tax returns, that's if they do so. But I think this transparency is a great thing: we get to see how the Justices think.

Bush isn’t a better president because Trump didn’t directly create nor did he infect the American people. Unlike bush and his war in Iraq and Afghanistan which could have been completely avoided.

It’s really strange when left leaning people are defending a guy who was a sock puppet for a known war criminal

It's apples and oranges. Trump allowed a disease to spread and people died while Bush straifed residential neighborhoods in Iraq with gunfire and destabilized a nation.

And 4,000 Americans died in Iraq. Hundreds of thousands of Iraqis died, so in reality Bush killed over 100,000 people.

I'm not sure if I'm being honest but I did hear they are questioning whether they have the authority to intervene in such a case, meaning it could send the case back to a lower court though who knows what will happen.

Was just reading about Trump, forgetting what a weirdo he is.

In April 2005, Trump appeared on Howard Stern's radio show, where Trump proposed that the fourth season of the television show The Apprentice would feature an exclusively white team of blondes competing against a team of only African-Americans. Stern asked Trump if that would start a "racial war", to which Trump replied: "it would be handled very beautifully by me ... I'm very diplomatic.

And then:

Trump also suggested that evangelicals should not trust Ted Cruz because Cruz is Cuban and that Jeb Bush "has to like the Mexican illegals because of his wife," who is Mexican American.

They've always been a matter of public record, we just haven't been able to listen in real time.

Fair point but most if not all of these deaths from the virus could have been prevented had Trump took this seriously and banned all trade and travel too and from China early on.

Even if he didn't do that he should have been more prepared by having a larger stock pile of masks and funding ready.

Or at the very least take it seriously and not claim that it was a hoax.
