Insulting politicians (including female ones) is his job. He's a politician, it's what they do.

He could play less golf imo. It gives the impression he's not working very hard.

Maybe you should ask Trump that given how much he bollocked Obama for doing it, and claimed he'd be too busy doing his job to golf. Instead over the last four years he's been too busy playing golf to do his job.

They should, but that means Trump is just gonna get more heat than he already does.

As for Joe Scarbourough, people need to stop saying he killed that woman. Even if you hate morning Joe, think about the family of the dead woman who is seeing their daughter's name get thrown around by the orangutan we call a president. Trump may as well have dug up her dead body, attached strings to her and made her into a demented marionette. He could pull her strings and make her say what he wants for real, like "Joe Scarborough killed me."

He does both with a concerning frequency.

Also golf is the sport of the bourgeoisie and is bad and no one should play or watch it ever.

Hey, if military personnel died for anything it's for the right of the president to spend the day golfing and insulting women.

"You go ahead boys, defend my right to golf and insult women.. I'd.. I'd join you but this pesky bone spur you know.. rest assured I'll be suffering my own personal Vietnam trying to avoid STDs as I sleep around NY through the 80's, we each do our part.."

So are politicians shielded from insults for being women?

Trump never lets facts get in the way of his talking points. The woman died as a result of a prexisting condition making her lose consciousness and she hit her head on a desk during the fall. Scarborough wasn't even there when it happened. He's also a fan of Goebbels' Big Bang Lie Theory, as seen by how this is just a rehash of an old bullshit attack.

Trump golfing and shaking hands without a mask is not the problem, it's his slice that is the true insult.

The bit where the President of the United States should be busy with more important things.

Normal people would find something wrong with Trump babycrying about Obama golfing during his Presidency then spending most of his own Presidency in golf clubs.

I vaguely remember someone saying that a good president should not play golf during a crisis. Really slammed Obama for that.

Who was the wise man who said that... can't remember exactly.. Sounded like Ronald Tump or something..

Remember how much Trump hated how Obama went golfing? Well now he is doing the exact same thing he derided Obama for doing.

So you know, being a hypocrite is not good.

Also whatever happened to respecting the Troops? Are they not more important then going golfing?

Loben The 2nd wrote:Politicians should be insulted more tbh.

You want to insult them? Fine. But don't be a hypocrite and go golfing when you said that going golfing isn't a good thing for a president to do.

Also it's Memorial Day so you might want to leave both of those things for tomorrow.

An Analysis: Trump's anti-mask campaign picks up steam.

Due to the lack of moral leadership (we shouldn't be surprised at this point), it's not a surprise Trump's views of wearing a mask come off as weak, and undermines his message that the pandemic isn't as severe. This has led to the politicization of masks, leading to more and more people not wearing them due to them being convinced that if the President isn't worried, they won't be either. While certainly the summer weather will slow the spread of the virus, the fact we may see more and more people not donning masks means more people could die.

Oh, btw, on an emphasis on deregulation, back in 2017, The Trump Administration Killed a Rule Designed To Protect Health Workers From Pandemic Like COVID-19.

When President Trump took office in 2017, his team stopped work on new federal regulations that would have forced the healthcare industry to prepare for an airborne infectious disease pandemic like COVID-19. That decision is documented in federal records reviewed by NPR.

"If that rule had gone into effect, then every hospital, every nursing home would essentially have to have a plan where they made sure they had enough respirators and they were prepared for this sort of pandemic," said David Michaels, who at the time served as head of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

There are still no specific federal regulations protecting healthcare workers from deadly airborne pathogens like influenza, tuberculosis or the coronavirus. This fact hit home during the last respiratory pandemic, the H1N1 outbreak in 2009. Thousands of Americans died and dozens of healthcare workers got sick. At least four nurses died.

Studies conducted after H1N1 found voluntary federal safety guidelines designed to limit the spread of airborne pathogens in medical facilities often weren't being followed. There were also shortages of personal protective equipment (PPE).

The current head of OSHA Loren Sweatt has said there are enough rules already in place and the hospital industry opposes the measures (as do Republicans in power).

I honestly can’t believe so many people are down with and support such an openly corrupt and mindlessly incompetent administration running their nation. To quote Ellen Ripley in Aliens “Did IQ’s drop sharply while I was away?”
