Trump is in such a hole, getting shot would really help his numbers. It worked for Reagan ...

Much as I despise Trump, you know if he gets assassinated that millions of his angry fans are gonna be rioting, bombing federal buildings, chasing down and beating or even lynching mexicans, arabs and black people and burning books. The murder of Donald Trump would cause untold violence and suffering in the United States, worse than what is currently happening.
And of course there's the die hard White Nationalists who will say the Jews were behind it and will bomb synagogues during high holidays. As i said, hope that Trump survives his presidency.

"The closest thing is in 1917, they say, the great pandemic. It certainly was a terrible thing where they lost anywhere from 50 to 100 million people, probably ended the Second World War," Trump said. "All the soldiers were sick. That was a terrible situation."

Best of luck to Trump's supporters in spinning this one.

Saying second instead of first honestly is not that big a deal.
Sure, it is a senior citizen moment, but at least there indeed was a big world war going on then. Trump has said sillier things. Many of them.

But every slip Biden makes is proof that he's senile and should not be allowed near public office.

Yeah, he slipped up on his wars there. I'm also concerned at his lack of nationalism: America won WWI didn't it?

Also the pandemic was in 1918. And it didn't end the First World War.
