Internationally most western governments are recovering. The USA never even left the first wave.

Well there was early linear escalation (daily new cases) until early April but it flattened out and fell slowly until mid-Jun. If that had continued ... well it still wouldn't be a brilliant result, but the US could claim covid was "under control".

What happened then is linear growth in new cases indistinguishable from a country having its first wave. I would call it a second wave, particularly since it's clearly tied to a change of policy.

Trump did give news conferences I saw urging Americans to wear the masks and follow social distancing rules. We have followed the rules all nations have. Republican and Democrat governors closed down parts of the economy of their states. But the Democrats and Democrat supporters blame trump for the unemployment caused by the lock downs and the deaths of Americans, for political reasons against him called politics. Despite the virus crisis the unemployment rate has dropped the last two months, and the Democrats still attack Trump on the unemployment rate. Just saying for the record, I tried to explain this hoax statement of Trump as I stated above, and I got in trouble with the Mods twice for posting false information, according to them, because I did not explain it correctly. I tried to explain to them what I meant in my post. All I can do is accept their decision as I strongly disagree with it, move on and be more careful the next times. I am still proud of my perfect record, of not baiting, trolling or using foul language against my fellow nations.

He has a problem of saying one thing and saying something else soon after. He doesn't not believe in masks or social distancing. If that was the case, why would it be news that he was seen wearing one? I suspect Walter Reed told him he had to or no visit. If he supported social distancing, why did he have his people remove the "don't sit here" stickers from seats at his last rally?

As to the lockdown; if he hadn't of been so incompetent at managing this crises, we wouldn't have had to have this long of a lockout. Supplies weren't available. Military medical wasn't put on alert. Existing tech wasn't being checked. Supplies not being stored for distribution. We had to make sure Chinese nationals couldn't come in. Everybody else. Come on down....well except those illegals. Did you know it's starting to look like Covid entered from Europe? Good job keeping those chinese out..

He failed on this one. It's why he is trying to throw gas on the racism and police violence problems. Make the people argue about that so they don't think about what a fuck he was over covid.

Oh and the unemployment rate isn't due to trump. It's just people returning to available jobs which they were laid off. Well those that could. Many don't have them anymore. But of course it's not because they want a job. They want the 600 dollars coming from the government instead.
