All a sanctuary city is, to my understanding, is a city essentially going "we can't physically stop you from rounding up migrants, but you'll have to do it yourself and we won't help"

I thought we were big on devolution and decentralization? Or is it bad now that the spooky liberals figured out how to play too?

Correct.

As the US inches closer to 100,000 casualties following the Corona pandemic, the president makes a bold move befitting any leader facing a crisis: He goes golfing.

Then you get the money.

Then you get the women.

I thought I responded to this. My wife who can care less about this place; laughed at "Turns out we still don't trust the Irish." :D

Why not? It happened in 1918. Pastors got newspapers to print sermons and the Boy Scouts delivered them. Even one guy who vowed to keep doing it and pray the flu away ended up canceling events which were estimated to draw 10000 people.

Mass gatherings in a hot spot is a bad idea. If the Pope can do Easter mass via streaming; why do these guys have to be open?

A cold war between two powers only opposed on realpolitical grounds and not on ideological grounds (one being a capitalist nationalis oligarchy and the other being a capitalist neofeodal kleptocracy) just doesn’t strike me as much.
The name's James. James Usari. Well, my name is not actually James Usari, so don't bother actually looking it up, but it'll do for now.

But but but he said he would have not time to golf :(

At one point, in 2014, he said that when Obama played his 200th round of golf during his presidency. Obama spent six years getting to that mark, while Trump has reached that point in three.

He said when you get the presidency, you should give up golf for a couple of years. Trump correctly said "there are times to play, and times you can't play", and that "it sends the wrong signal" if you play golf during a time of a crisis.

Of course, that wouldn't apply to Trump himself, nor will you see any outrage on Fox News like what the mustered in 2014.

That's 50% of Fox News viewers, but don't forget the 25% of Fox News viewers who say they are "not sure".

Only 1/4th of Fox News viewes does not think Bill Gates is using pandemic to microchip them.
