A long time ago, I used to post with a different nation... even now, technically, I'm a puppet... but I accrued a ban and decided to become my "real self". While it does turn out that Forsher is actually a real surname, it's nothing at all to do with mine. No, what I meant was I would make a new nation and name it after an account I use on another site. Since I did that, I have no idea where Forsher comes from since I made it up about (*checks other website*) when I was 9, i.e. more than thirteen years ago.

What I can tell you, though, is that then and now I have a complete aversion to putting numbers in names so I would have just been combining letters in a way that I thought sounded a bit like a name to create something "original".

As to my recently revealed puppet JBanks. I'm pretty sure John Banks did something stupid which, for some reason, I decided was sufficient reason to create a nation about.

Whilst possible, I don't think so. Part of that's because, well, here's how I pronounce, in order, Forsher, For Sure and Foreshore. But really they just seem like, I guess, backronym type deals. You see, while they make sense in the context of this site, or NSG really, but I don't think they would even sub-consciously occur to a nine year old trying to name a character. Given the plethora of other names I could have chosen as the "real" internet me (most of which I remember with fondness) a subconscious connection with either might make more sense when it comes to thinking about why a 16 year old chose a specific new name for an internet forum.

Still, maybe.
