Some churches are also directly controlled by the CCP, iirc.

I remember reading last year that all churches in China were required to take down pictures of Jesus and other religious figures and replace them with ones of Xi Jinping and Mao Zedong.

I'm guessing that the ROC is keeping their claims, because they do not want to be perceived as too weak or giving in to the demands of others. It's at least a democratic and friendly, non-manipulative state, hence my high hopes for them.

His democratic history is not long.Of course, Taiwan is now a democracy. But friendly, non-manipulative state,It's better to have a good look at what they've done

(Before being defeated by the CCP, ROC really occupied these islands. At that time, Southeast Asian countries were not independent. So no one has any objection)

They are not led by the Pope. And there is a law in China that preaching is illegal. The reason is that people have the freedom to choose religion or not. Missionary suspected of Ideological Manipulation.Preaching is suspected of interfering with the thoughts of others

That kind of materialism is not conducive to a culture that generates or sustains life. The CCP needs a drastic philosophical shift away from Marx and towards Aquinas. But more broadly, they need Christ.

Just how many times the downfall of the CCP has been wrongly predicted?

No communist regime, in human history, has fallen because of internal revolution without the system being dismantled by the Communist Party in question itself (USSR), or without being beholden to another communist country where the Communist Party did so (all of communist Eastern Europe and Africa), or without being flat-out invaded by another country (Grenada).

The possibility of internal revolution in China, or any other current communist regime for that matter, is extremely unlikely in the short- and even mid-term.

Just give up the idea. China was a materialistic country before Christianity, over 2000 years. You might as well study how to convert Turkey to Christianity.

I believe that China will come out of its current issues stronger than ever.

It has the population, it has the economy, it has the production.

I have also heard that Russia and China are jointly operating a few oil pipelines. There will be great economic cooperation between China and Russia in addition to China and the USA. This should bring in lots of money and opportunities for the Chinese people.

The GDP has, to my understanding, been growing every year and with every passing year, the infrastructure and technology of the Chinese republic has been getting better

There's a lot of emphasis on China's currency but its economy is actually backed by a massive productive workforce, large consumer base, and the production of necessary goods for the world economy

Because there's a lot more that goes into a modern economy than production of goods, and even that isn't safe. It has a debt bubble, a housing bubble, production is increasingly being shifted to places like Vietnam or India etc etc. The Chinese economy is far from invulnerable. Quite the opposite, it's arguably the weakest of any major nation.

Industrial chain is turning to China. The bubble of the service and financial sector is much bigger than China's debt bubble.India and Vietnam have no comparative advantage in manufacturing industry and can only undertake part of low-end manufacturing industry.

The main problems of China's economy are weak domestic and international consumer demand and industrial overcapacity. The purpose of China's "the belt and road" plan is to manufacture foreign consumer demand.Find buyers for excess capacity. The other plan 2025 is to replace the current position of developed countries in the global industrial chain. In other words, China has ambitious plans to occupy all industries in the global industrial division, from high-end to low-end industries.I think this is the fundamental contradiction between the United States and China at present.Because the United States is the actual controller of the current high-end industrial chain. The biggest problem facing the west is not the competition of China, but the loss of manufacturing industry caused by industrial hollowing out.The development of financial industry and service industry can bring profits, but it is also a double-edged sword.
China's future lies in new technology. The future of the West also lies in new technology.Whoever first invents some new revolutionary invention will have an advantage.

I don't believe Vietnam and India can replace the People's Republic as the world's workshop.

They are still far behind and they do not have that perfect balance that China has between cheap labour, quality, political stability and technology. I mean just look at the GDPs, the gap is huge.

Maybe in a few decades but by then China will have developed even more power to create new specialisations with respect to the world economy. For the foreseeable future, the USA-China economic trade and focus is still going to be the centre of the world economy.

Quality? I'm sorry to say this, but if the goods are so good to begin with why Chinese masks are not qualified to be used?

Political stability. Afaik Vietnam is more stable than China these past few years, but I may be wrong.

China will become part of the Evil Empire ruled by Empress Kim Yo-jong in form of an absolute totalitarian monarchy.

Those who refuse to submit to her will be destroyed in horrible biomechanical experimentation which will also lead to the creation of new cyborg technologies and unspeakable horrors.

Europe
1. Thousands of testing kits and medical masks are below standard or defective, according to authorities in Spain, Turkey and the Netherlands.

You should know that the quality inspection is carried out in the importing country.OK,Now, in order to solve these problems, China has announced the latest policy. All export commodities must pass China's quality inspection before passing the customs.(If your national test standard conflicts with China, you may not be able to purchase these masks)And can only be purchased from suppliers designated by the CPC(Even if you find a supplier of inferior masks, you can't buy them). So you would't get a mask that doesn't meet the standards.Satisfied? In the future, all medical supplies have passed bilateral quality certification

it says nothing about stolen ideas or inferior quality from the source

contrary to popular opinion, China has always been one of the world's greatest invention-making civilisations

it has been this way since the ancient days and the chances are good that in the future, China will invent more things
