Pumpkin spice donuts with a glass of apple cider. You also can't go wrong with a classic glazed donut or a pączki.

I like normal doughnuts and chocolatey doughnuts... but please let there be a hole in the middle!

While I said before that glazed and plain doughnuts are a nice addition to my coffee, my affinity for chocolate is worth stating. The combination of chocolate doughnuts with warm milk-coffee can effectively be described as a kind of sensory-simulacrum.

I have particular affection for glazed, chocolate and creamy doughnuts.

Fillings are also okay for me.

Krispy Kreme is my go-to for almost all of these.

Yeah, but without any powder on it. I forgot to mention that. I feel powder is just there to dry out the mouth as fast as possible and doesnt really enhance the the donut in any way.

I like most kinds of doughnuts. If I had to choose a favorite, I guess I would choose a chocolate frosted, glazed doughnute, with sprinkles.

I don’t know how to answer the poll, as my favorite is a Bavarian Creme donut, which is both covered in powdered sugar AND filled with custard/cream.

Apple fritter or maple bar.
"...I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

Literally anything from Krispy Kreme. They’ve done some weird seasonal stuff, but somehow everything tastes amazing.

I concur, I used to buy-’em in half dozen boxes and eat though them on work breaks.

Now I reserve myself to just eating two whenever I go out to get donuts.

Krispy Kreme hot out of the oven are the best for this.

I happen to like Boston Creme, Apple Spice donuts, and old fashioned chocolate glazed as well.

Oh my god, and in the fall: apple cider donuts. TRUST ME ON THIS.

Buttermilk bars, so I guess that counts as plain. But I also dig chocolate French crullers.

Glazed Sourdough. I don't like donuts that feel overly aerated.
