Well, in my opinion, many young men have not seen how virtue enhances beauty. If they did, they'd be attending church in droves. It's almost like seeing Mother Mary in the flesh.

While I wouldn't use the word perfect to describe such women, their countenance does mirror it. They often become nuns and religious sisters like Mother Theresa.

Ah, yes. How silly of me. How could I possibly have mistaken one of my regular friendships for my partner? Because I own joint bank accounts with all of my friends, and rent homes with all of my friends, and sleep in the same bed all the time as all of my friends, and introduce all my friends to my parents as the people I want to stick with until I'm 90 and can't tell my face from my feet. I totally talk about whether I'm going to share a grave space with my friends, or be side by side of them, or whether I'd like to be cremated and sprinkled over their plot. I deep dive onto painful personal subjects I couldn't even reliably tell a therapist with every friend I have. All my friends and I make habits of deciding whether we should adopt kids together or just spoil our pets forever instead. I roll over and wake up every friend I have and sob on their shoulder when I have a terrible nightmare. This'll make helping my friends try on and choose clothing a lot easier too, now that I can just waltz into the fitting room with them all while they disrobe and redress. I guess I can't have any visitors during family hours only now that all I have are friends. Those other friends I have are going to have to sit down with me and discuss grocery bills and furniture purchases and whether we want to paint the walls or not. And oh boy, won't my friends be stunned when I tell them we could have all been scrubbing each other's back in the shower the whole time? Gosh, I just keep thinking of things. Boy, I wish I'd known that sex was the only real difference between the two! I guess I'll go break the news to my partner now. I'm sure we'll get a huge laugh out of it together!

Anyway. It's clear to me that a lot of these religious arguments are controlling and outdated bunk, and fall apart the minute someone gets outside of the immediate range of one allosexual man + one allosexual woman with a church-given worldview, simply due to the fact that other people exist as valid proof of not immediately bursting into flames or living horrible, miserable lives. I've no use for them in my life and wash my hands of them and their views of casual sex (or lack of, apparently).

Nah. You have a perfectly valid right to speak your beliefs and hold them dear, but you don't have a special right that your particular faith is correct or anything. Yours is but one possibility and God isn't poking his head down to tell us which one is true.
