So are warnings just going everywhere now? The mods can't expect posters to try and use a GHR for every single warning on this page alone. It's ridiculous. It's not on topic, sure, but any time a thread has been made to discuss mod behavior it's been locked within a page. I suspect the mods can't actually do much about it, though, they're (mostly) told by Max how to run the website, and I imagine it's to keep the drama rolling. Not every mod is bad, but I imagine some have their hands tied more than others.

It's depressing, but it's why I mostly stick to RPs these days. I guess we need another right-wing topic to talk about, so we don't all get warned?

Yes, but that is what WRA is saying, that it is a failure of volunteer ventures to uphold the societal good. Instead, there should be a vigorous academy where one is trained to be a mod. This is very much in line with certain strains of right-wing thought and precedent.

It shows that private systems can be just as arbitrary, intolerant of dissent and arbitrary as the worst government absent government oversight. As I brought up before this is the great incoherence of libertarianism, the assumption the private entities necessarily give a shit about freedom.

Oh, there are a ton of things you could look into when dealing with romcoms, especially for multimedia degrees.

Like their evolution as a genre, gender representation, gender roles and expectations present within them, how those expectations conflict with real life, what they're like in other countries, female romcoms vs. male romcoms, etc...
