The RWDT film is a film noir in which the un-named protagonist (UMN) struggles to live under a dystopian totalitarian city chased by Diop, a secret police captain with an even darker secret, for a crime that the viewer is never told. The story is told from the protagonist's point of view, permanently in first person. Chase scenes with Diop include the protagonist hiding behind a septic tank while the viewer hears Diops panting and "I can ssmeeeelll youuu" in binaural.

The film is characterised by its short and sharp writing, with characters rarely expressing speech longer than a sentence. In one climactic scene where the protagonist must acquire a passport from a sketchy people trafficker (TEM), the two characters say nothing while making the five minute, terse exchange. After being lost in the sewers on his way to the harbour, the protagonist finds a dark secret about the world, and turns back despite being able to make his escape, committed to restore the truth and the light and crumble a monstrous tyranny.

On that note, the zoning rules have murdered house prices too. We've cut the first rungs off the ladders and wondered what the hell did we do? Not to mention millennials just had an extreme dose of bad luck. Too bad they are as a rule politically insane. C'est le guerre.
