Who would blame him. Nazis and Fascists look edgy and hardcore, if for their Aesthetics and "forbidden" and "taboo" nature alone, they can be considered cool in a counter-cultural way. In this sense, Nazi imagery intersects with LGBT culture in being Taboo. And yeah it's true, even slavs use Nazi imagery to look cool.
