Romantic love is simply too selfish an option for these trying times, I'm afraid.

Money, because then I can buy my own harem of barely-legal Eastern European brides. The most submissive to me but assertive to the rest is the first to breed with me.

While most people would go right to love (and then pat themselves on the back for not being greedy), I don't think I like the idea of having love just supernaturally handed to me. The money, on the other hand, would be extremely useful, for both me and the people I care about. I'll pick the money, personally. I'd rather find love on my own.

She/Her

People tend to assume that Entrance of the Gladiators by Julius Fučík is what that ever so famous circus clown theme is. And it is. Nobody would ever argue with you on this fact.
However, if you want to be an unlikable, pedantic jerk, the song actually known as "circus music" would be a version composed for American woodwind bands (and later transcribed for fairground organs) titled Thunder and Blazes, published by Louis-Philippe Laurendeau.
Of course, this information is of absolutely no consequence to anyone.

People don't love you if you're poor generally speaking, anyways. The leading cause of divorce after all, is said to be financial difficulties. The extra attention is something rich people are usually able to handle on their own. Gold diggers are only really a problem if you're too gullible or dumb as to fall for it. Most wealthy people know ahead of time what someone wants and decide if they're willing to accept those terms or not.

I disagree with that. In fact, the most true love I've seen in the world has been among poor people.

This planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movement of small green pieces of paper, which was odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy.

I mean, the chances of either of those things happening in my lifetime are damn-near impossible at best, so... eh, coin toss.

Also, what if you're lucky and end up shacking up with a rich partner?

Also, it's very eminently replaceable. You need not establish an emotional connection to it.

It’s possible. If you choose money, you get no supernatural help in other departments but you could beat the odds.

Not all money is green

With the Hong Kong dollar bills for example, there’s red and blue too
