Could anything Obama had done actually prevented the loss of the House and Senate?

And gifting the world four more years of Trump in the process, betraying those beliefs in doing so.

You didn't make a dent in my point, which is that there is zero reason to believe Biden will be any more progressive than Obama, who campaigned on progressive values and did bupkus with them.
If it comes down to it, I'll vote down ticket, but it's going to be harder to convince me to vote for Biden.

If it comes down to it, I'll vote down ticket, but it's going to be harder to convince me to vote for Biden. Every election cycle is the same bullshit, "Wait four more years for a real progressive, you'll get one some day." That day never comes.

Ultimately, it's up to Sanders' Supporters whether they want to back Biden or not, but Biden needs to earn their vote. How he does that, I'm not totally sure. As an outsider here, however, I would strongly recommend it given Biden is better than Trump by miles despite his flaws. The Wiccan Israel wrote:Mainly on the lack of enthusiasm among Biden’s voterbase.
Besides, if he can hardly defend himself against Bernie Sanders in the Democratic debates, how can he possibly handle Trump?
He actually did well in the last debate he had: Biden does best when it's a one-on-one, and that debate showed it. Of course, people that favor Sanders heavily won't see it that way due to bias while Biden Supporters believe he did excellent (me personally, I give it a tie), but Biden and Sanders held their ground on their respective views.
