Putting my Tulsi bias aside, I'd say Cory Booker would have been their best bet. Similar to Biden on the issues, more charismatic, and his brain isn't melting. That being said, this round of candidates was overall a massive dumpster fire and I think any of them would have gotten curb stomped by Trump, which is really sad considering how vulnerable of a candidate he is.

Going forward, I can see Gavin Newsom throwing his hat in the ring at some point and winning.

I'm convinced that Gavin (we've met, hung out...I can call him Gavin...) was planning on running in 2024 at the end of the Clinton term and her losing fucked up his plans. His first term as governor of California ends in 2024, just in time for him to run for president. Now if Biden wins he has to rely on Biden only wanting one term.

Also I knew that handsome devil was going to run for president when he was my mayor.
"...I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

I’m a petty person and I know that so I judge candidates on their looks too much so I don’t like Gavin Newsom because I think he looks like a total dick bag. I mean how bad does he have to be for his wife to dump him for Jr.

Since 2016 the only thing I care about is having a third option. I dont care if its Lib or Green im just voting for whoever is polling the highest in November.

I agree it wasn't big, but in this race a factor doesn't have to be big to be race-tipping. If 0.06% of voters fell into that camp, and now voted for Biden, he would win, assuming everyone else voted the same.

Let's not forget that Jim Comey will not be releasing some ill conceived letter casting shade on Biden in the final days thus putting Trump over the top. The whole idea of pretending it's 2016 all over again allows Trump to win again is as dumb as a box of door knobs.

Excuses, excuses. What if instead of an investigation, there's a public transit strike in Philadelphia on election day, like there nearly was last time, giving the state to Trump? Expecting no bad things to happen to Biden in November is stupid.

That's a bit absurd without knowing who that VP candidate actually is, isn't it?

As for Newsom... I'd rather pass.

You have a level of audacity to say such things. Voting Libertarian will split Trump's vote, and supporting a 3rd party gets them closer to being on the debate stage.

I respect your choice but until you reach 5% it is a wasted vote and I don't see that happening this election, plus there is too much at stake.

Gary Johnson and Jill Stein is the reason Trump got elected in the first place.

From what I saw if Johnson and Stein voters had voted for the two main parties Trump would have won the popular vote.

I hope so, if RBG happens to pass away or resigns while President Trump is on his second term.
But I wish her good health.
