Biden's not ideal but, I, for one, am willing to play to the consequentialist argument and say that Biden would be better than Trump.

A rotten pineapple would be better than Trump as I see it, but a lot of people don't think Biden can win.

Which is weird, because the crux of how he got elected is because people thought he could do a really good job at winning, but then the narrative seems to have shifted partways through.

Either that or the internet isn't a great representative of the nation. Most likely the second thing.

I think it's a smart move from Sanders to bow out now.
There's no real path to victory for him anymore anyway. There's no reason to suspect any super secret conspiracy behind it. He just didn't have the numbers.
As much as I dislike Biden, now's probably the best time to start rallying around a nominee anyway, and I think Sanders is well aware of that too.

Nah, Biden stands a good chance, even with his flaws. Trump's entire presidency has been far too polarising.
I do think it's going to be way to close for comfort though, and if Biden starts taking a win for granted, he could be in trouble.

I'm not choosing between two rapist warmongers for President. It's just not going to happen. I know I said a while ago I'd pick Biden if just for the Supreme Court, but since all those allegations came out, it pushed me over the edge on this.

The worst thing is, a great man like Bernie Sanders has been fighting for the little guy for his entire life and many people are too blinded by their team politics to see what a great loss this is to democracy and the country at large. Perhaps one day we'll all see that he was correct all along. And maybe by then it won't be too late.

Even if Bernie himself tells me to vote for Joe Biden, I still won't.
