I'm actually quite miserable right now (hello, herniated disc) but my mom bought me a very delicious and soothing smelling bar soap to use in the shower so that's pretty cool. I walked into my bathroom not expecting it to smell like sandalwood, cinnamon, cardamom, and maple syrup but that's where we're at and I can't hate it at all. I also bought some slime for the first time and it's really nice to play with.

I stayed up really late last night and went out to the park early in the morning. I saw the sky turn many beautiful colors as the sun slowly rose in the horizon. Really beautiful.

I was going to go to a 4 day music festival (Strange Creek Camp Out) starting Thursday...it was postponed till September... bummer.. BUT, the folks that put on the fest are doing The Strange Creek Camp In, a virtual 4 day festival 6-midnight on Thursday and 2-midnight on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! A bummer turned into a wonderous thing indeed

Try watching the sky on a hill from several minutes before sunrise. You could see the lines between the starts as the light from the sun comes up. Absolutely beautiful.

The bakery down the road from my home probably makes the best neenish tarts in all of Sydney! Since Covid started, I can't go out and go to go a cafe, so I have to rely on whatever the local bakery produces. Neenish tarts are my favourite cake, but not many cafes sell them. I've been reacquainted with neenish tarts, and all their yumminess!
