I hadn't heard from God in over a month, but he spoke to me today. :)
I believe in: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Proverbs 6:16-19: There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.

Halfway through one of the largest chapters of my most recent fanfic thus far - plus, the author to one of my favorite fics is updating again tomorrow! Next week's turning out to be pretty good.

Yes, otherwise it wouldn't belong in this thread. He reminded me of why I should persevere in my faith. :)

Also, this is old but good. :)

Yes.

Nope, I still hate their guts.
But it did make me very happy to see them discredited, so there is that.

Also I got a model train collection, which made me happy.

You got a problem with people fucking cursing? That shit's fine so long as it's not being used to flame/troll/etc. :P Gimme a sec, I'll go dig up an obscenity-laced official mod post I did ages ago for folks to giggle at. :lol2: Let's see... Reppy swears while issuing a warning, Reppy swears while issuing a different warning, (further explained here,) oh wow, I forgot about this silly piece of fucking 'math', and old Bastard NS Mod from Hell story along similar lines-

Okay, searching the forums for posts I made containing the word "fucking" was entirely more amusing than it should be. :lol2:

And more on the topic of "happy stuff", I'm still basking in the glow of massive warm fuzzies after a birthday surprise plot at work was a downright resounding success today. :D

Finished my novel after 8 years recently, and all of the editors I've approached have loved it very much. Been a nice feeling to know I was actually writing something nice all of that time. :)
Conserative Morality wrote:"It's not time yet" is a tactic used by reactionaries in every era. "It's not time for democracy, it's not time for capitalism, it's not time for emancipation." Of course it's not time. It's never time, not on its own. You make it time. If you're under fire in the no-man's land of WW1, you start digging a foxhole even if the ideal time would be when you *aren't* being bombarded, because once you wait for it to be 'time', other situations will need your attention, assuming you survive that long. If the fields aren't furrowed, plow them. If the iron is not hot, make it so. If society is not ready, change it.
