Having released on the same day, an unusual friendship has developed between the fans of Doom Eternal, and the fans of Animal Crossing New Horizons (though I suspect there is significant crossover between those two demographics, such as myself)

Hit 30 yesterday. Didn't ask for a party, I'm responsibly self-isolating. Just a bit of a bummer hitting a milestone alone. A few friends, reassuring me they're healthy, are giving me a dinner today. The world's feeling miserable but my friends are still awesome.

Coincidentally, they're pretty much two of the games top of my list to play. I'm even considering getting a Switch just for Animal Crossing.

You know what Arch, I didn't think it was possible, but somhow, this thread has cheered me up. Thanks!
Here's a picture of my dog. Her name is Belle:

She's a cross staffy (Staffordshire bull terrior) considering that she's a shelter dog who was found (by the shelter) abandoned in a park, we don't know what she's mixed with, all we know is that she's not pure bred. Our best guess is Labrador, which would make her a Staffador, but we don't know for sure

We call her "Bellie" sometimes, and she loves Belly rubs. I wonder if she thinks belly rubs are named after her. Btw, the foot in that photo is mine

Back in January when the term started, I unfortunately have to evict out of my hostel room due to the Coronavirus situation.

The Sunshine part is... as appreciation for my swift part in evicting out, I am getting a $50 voucher for Capital Land, specifically the shopping mall.

My uncle is likely to be able to return to Zimbabwe once the pandemic is over and start farming again. Hard to think about what happened 20 years ago since I was so young then, and 11 years since my mum and dad left for the states with me and my brothers. I'll like some family back home, means when I move back it'll be less lonely.
