I am not a friend of Mike Pence for various reasons and I have argued in the past for various reasons that he would be worse than Trump. However, given those circumstances, a (acting) Preisdent who can keep it together is preferable than one who cant. Even if its Pence.

Oh yeah, fun fact, college students ages 18-24 who are still counted as dependents or still living with their parents (But not declared dependents) won't be getting relief checks for the earlier passed $2.2 billion relief payout.

So the most financially unstable and hardest hit demographic by everything that's going on is the only one not receiving any money from the gov.

Because the American Overton Window is so skewed to the right.

In fact, the entire world is skewed to the right economically and socially, except economically in former Warsaw Pact countries and in the Nords.

You think it was the Dems in the house who chose to exclude college students from relief?

Doesn't seem likely to me. More like Republicans in the Senate.

Short of actually reading the House and Senate bills I can't be sure though.

Pretty sure you're wrong here, the loophole only applies to people who are declared as dependents.

If that was so, surely they'd have prioritized college students who are strongly their base?

Seems like you're just taking a wild swipe at Democrats without even relating to the subject.

Their donors won't be happy about tens of billions flowing away from them, even if it is to their base. Remember that Democrat donors are just Republican donors but less racist.

What are you even talking about? College students (dependent or not) are probably not major donors. To the Sanders campaign perhaps, not to the Dems already elected.

Their are now at least 139 Corona virus cases in Cuba, 114 Cubans and 25 foreigners, 3 critically ill, 3 passed away, 48 with respiratory problems and 1822 in isolation centers. The Cuban government regime has declared social distancing and social distancing of 1 meter away in long lines, while asking the people to not gather in long lines. The Cuban government regime has closed Cuba's borders after most airlines stopped flying to Cuba anyways. The Cuban government regime has sent most or all foreign tourists home.

But social distancing and short lines in Cuba are a problem, since most Cubans need to make long lines of hours to buy limited and rationed products of food, medicines, soap, detergent, toothpaste and toilet paper, whichever product is selling at whichever government store at the time, and when your turn comes up they might have run out of the product, ask your Cuban American family and Cubans all over the world to send you family remittances and care packages of food, medicines, soap, detergent, toothpaste and toilet paper, but it has been that way for over 60 years under the triumphs of the eternal revolution, as they the government regime says, we are the continuity of the revolution:

Probably was, but couldn't the Democratic Senators just filibuster and threaten the Republicans with cutting out all corporate welfare?

They could pass one without corporate welfare and with a temporary UBI in the House, forcing it to go to contingency committee or whatever it's called.
