Do you think Broadway would be doing any better if all their audiences, cast, and crew all got sick and loads of them died?

I was for a while under the influence of it, I can assure you that "fascism" or nazism is, in the end, all about vulgar racialism and antisemitism. Specifically the second thing.

Any adjectives, additions and so on are just fluff that is build around the two above mentioned tenets in one way or another.

Where this isn't the case it's probably not nazism/fascism but something else.

No it isn't. That movie specifically consulted with epidemiologists, who it turns out know a lot about pandemics. Movies in general are not remotely good at predicting anything.

The virus itself isn’t that incredibly lethal, however still 10x worse than the flu. The main problem is if everyone gets it all at once, too many people will end up being hospitalized, which leads to deaths due to hospitals succumbing to an influx of cases.

This virus spreads faster than the flu, it’s very easy to transmit between people. The flu infects about a billion people every year, and kills half a million. Those deaths are mostly immune-compromised, and most have co-morbidities (more than one disease at the same time)

As of right now, this is likely to infect 2 - 3 billion... without any interventions to stop the spread, we are looking at 10s of millions of deaths (2.2 million in the US alone)

Treating this with complanency is the worse thing we can do right now.

One funny thing that happened due to the lockdown was when I was at work yesterday. There was maybe 8 of us in the entire building and no one else was there. No customers, no other workers, no repair guys, no one. All of the sudden someone yelled SHIT! really loudly in the back, and one girl was like "that sounded like you!" I said to her "that was my stand!"

We wouldn't have heard that in a normal busy panera.
