I saw an article not too long ago of how a scuba mask was tweaked in Italy to act as a ventilator mask. I commend anyone and their efforts to help on this.

That plateau will probably be more evident as states start reaching their peaks. Spain and Italy are on their downward trends.

Creative, but wouldn't that run into the same kinds of problems as those sleep apnoea machines? If there's nothing to catch the exhaust then it'd just spray the virus everywhere. I don't know how SCUBA masks work though, so maybe I'm talking shite. No one listen to me.

In all honesty I can’t say. I don’t know how scuba masks work. Gallo is telling me that you have to tweak the valve to do something different. You would have to modify the sucking mechanism in the mask and control it from somewhere else, not the patient.
