Maybe. No one knows yet. I know Michigan's peak was estimated to come at or around April 21st, so there's that.

And then one day you look in the mirror and you realize that you ain't you anymore. You're just another monster, and thanks to your actions, someone else will eventually become as warped and twisted as you. Never forget that the best of us are just the best of a bad lot. I wonder if the Chinese regime did it by intent, unleashed a virus by intent? Can that actually be done? I don't know.

Well that gives reason to hope this might be over sooner than expected.Nobel Hobos 2 wrote:

We have lots of peaks. Some are over 14,000 feet high (4267 meters for you of the metric persuasion).

I think that’s because LA started registering cases before AR. Although national peak for hospital use is estimated to be around April 15th.

Edit: the link estimates peak for my state on April 26th.

Louisiana’s peak is gonna be...at this rate...Good Friday.
That is...both disturbing...terrifying...and I dunno how to feel about this. The earlier the peak comes the better I guess, but...the peak in resource use is Holy Thursday...
Geez Louise, truly entering the Garden of Gethsemane with Christ, I see. Hopefully we come out of tomb with Christ sooner than later.

I find it rather alarming that daily deaths and resource peaks are just days apart. Like, beds will be freed up by people dying?

I mean, critical hospital cases tend to resolve in one of two very different ways. Either they get better to the point they no longer need hospital resources, or they pass on, and therefore no longer need hospital resources.

That you use the euphemism "passing on" tells me you find it a bit disturbing too.
"Hey nurse! This bed is still warm!"
