The CCP has also been exposed as being a culprit behind the global mask and equipment shortage, by misleading other countries on the severity of the virus, while simultaneously buying up masks and equipment in western countries through shell companies, especially in Australia. It certainly didn't help that Trump sent them additional equipment, leaving an even bigger shortage than the one that the CCP helped create.
