The irony is that they're asexual and yet act as if they hold the definitive moral standard on how sex/sexuality should be practiced.

I have never heard of Asexual who thinks that it's wrong to have sex before. Sure, they don't want to, don't feel anything about it, or some even feel disgusted, but telling that it's wrong?

People having sex just for pleasure would not be only within relationships, but also in casual situations, friendships, etc. The results would likely be distancing between friends as a result of sexual feelings undermining platonic ones and professional ones.
