Yes actually, we generally do. That instance is birth.
Now, it is important to note that even if we considered the fetus to be a person, it still has no right to use the woman's body if she has withdrawn her consent for it to do so. We don't allow born persons to do such a thing, after all.

Regardless of what they have a right to do, killing a child is not a proportionate response.

A majority of pro-life organizations especially the large ones are run by women and if you have ever gone to a pro-life march, its got more women than men.

What the hell does that have to do with anything? I don't care about the gender of wrong people, only that they're wrong. The American Free States wrote:
There’s no reason to be so pessimistic.
Um, yes there is. Minorities of all kinds are routinely violently abused and murdered on the basis of their minority status, even in first world countries; the world refuses to take required drastic action on climate change, dooming young generations to what will likely be an early death; the "leader of the free world" is a racist laughingstock who is handling a massive global pandemic about as well as a five-year-old could; people in the US are dying because we refuse to follow the path of a civilized country and adopt a fair healthcare system; global ecological collapse is occurring under our very feet and we're doing little to curb it for economic reasons... The world is a nightmare right now and if you can't see that, you're naïve.

Well, I agree with you, we need to solve climate change, through the power of nuclear energy. How is Trump racist?
The Healthcare System is going to be broke because no one cares enough to fix the broken Obamacare that allowed people to exploit it.
There are Economic ways to solve ecological problems, but throwing money at it won’t solve it.

And as previously stated, it's always a threat.
Why yes, any medical procedure carries with it a risk. That is why hospitals will ask for permission to operate, and if the person involved is unconscious, will generally only take the actions necessary to save the person's life if they cannot otherwise get permission to operate from next of kin.

Sexually abused by grandmother's boyfriend, IIRC, and denied access to an abortion despite the fact that she absolutely legally qualified for one under a law that's a hundred years old.

The fetus is still a living creature, and as such should have rights.

West coast and new England. They're the ones who, as far as the USA goes, are less prone to climate change denial.

Even if it had rights, those rights would be forfeit so long as it imposed upon the rights of another person. We don't allow born persons to use the body of another person without their consent. I see no rationale to slap in an exception.

Seems sort of odd to go by the states, shouldn't you go by the people? Democrats, the pro-choice party, are more favorable to anti-Nuclear troglodytery and more likely to deny the scientific consensus on the safety of GMOs.

And republican folk who have little issue with reducing restrictions on what it takes to employ lethal force on others in self-defense go utterly bugshit over a woman exercising rights with a similar basis against a fetus. I acknowledge that there is a degree of cognitive dissonance on both sides of the aisle.
