It can be fun. Just imagine whatever you're eating contains chocolate or something like that.

There are plenty of healthy recipes that are actually really tasty.

I'm having to stick to a really low-fat diet ATM (just for a medical-ly thing) so no chocolate, cheese etc.

I recommend you avoid the health food bloggers (The yummy mummy "with just a lettuce, a papaya, two blueberries and a squeeze of guava juice, you can make a... meal, of sorts... I guess." type).

When you want to/have to eat healthier, the trick is to try looking for healthier recipes in the type of food you enjoy. Thai and Thai-inspired food's good for me, because it uses a lot of flavourings to spice up otherwise plain meals. Like this: a small lean lightly seasoned steak grilled to your preference and served with mixed salad tossed in a simple dressing of half a tbsp fish sauce, half a finely diced red chilli, half a tbsp of brown sugar and 2 tbsp lime juice. Serve with a slice or two of crusty bread on the side.

I like Go because learning strategy involves rummaging through a Go dictionary of words from one or two languages that I don't know.
I love learning about eye-stealing tesuji. What's a tesuji, you ask? "A clever play," apparently. This article also points me to suji, so let's learn the origin of this. Perhaps we will learn some tesuji of our own in the form of expanded horizons and knowledge.

Ah. Ah, okay.

No clue. Who do you think I am, some kind of... entomologist? Get outta here.

Gorlfriends are always awesome.

Another thing I've never understood is boomer humor about not liking their wives. Like, imagine being married to someone and not loving them. Obviously, instances of abuse and manipulation exempted from that.

There's a big ass spider in the bathroom right in front of me.

That's just a little house spider. If you want really big and terrifying spiders, come down here to Texas.

Everything is bigger in Texas, but that's not always a positive thing.

I dunno, seem some spider pics from friends of mine in Australia... Texas' spiders look positively cute next to the Australian ones.

People who know my political beliefs and are Christian don't think that I am also Christian, but people who are not Christian are annoyed by my Christianity. It gets pretty frustrating after a while.

I don't get offended by anyone's religious beliefs. I may not like some portion therein, but that doesn't offend me. What is offensive to me is people who judge others based upon their own preconceived notions of what is and isn't a 'good Christian.' Religion is between you and God, not between you and anyone else.
